The Big Apple Comes Home

We're offering two blocks of classes, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Saturday will consist of a four hour block of instruction covering the big apple routine choreographed by Frankie Manning for the movie "Keep Punchin" Sunday we'll have another four hour block of instruction, this time covering jazz moves that were apart of the big apple dance as it would have been done on the social dance floor in the south back in the 30's and 40's.

Classes will be conducted at the pace the instructors set. There will be periodic breaks, but these will be given at the discretion of the instructors. Because each day is covering a single topic both block of instruction are intended to be taken as a whole. We unfortunately can't allow people to come half way through.

That being said the two days while related to the big apple are very different from each other and it is not required that you attend Saturday's workshop in order to attend on Sunday.
