Swing Into Spring- Competitions!
In addition to all the great workshops, music and dancing, we're going to have two divisions of Jack-and-Jill competitions, Novice/Intermediate and Advanced. Each competition has a $10 entrance fee.
Beginner/Intermediate
This competition is for those who are new to competing or have competed in a few competitions but not placed. At this level you will be judged primarily on your ability to connect with your partner. It's not about how many tricks you can do but how well you can dance with your partner.
Advanced
This competition is for those who have been dancing and competing for a while and regularly make finals in their competitions. At this level we assume that you are able to dance with good connection, you'll be judged on how well you can add your own personality to the dance while still dancing with your partner.
